Regina Olasin, D.O., FACP, FAAP
After serving as the Senior VP / Director of Medical Affairs for Catskill Regional Medical Center from 2002 – 2005, Dr. Olasin became the Medical Director of the Center for Discovery in Harris, NY. From 1995 to1996, she served as a North Central Pennsylvania AHEC Board Member and was a member of the Statewide Steering Committee, PA. AHEC.
Dr. Olasin was a research technician at Albert Einstein College of Medicine after completing her undergraduate Biology degree at Fordham in 1975. Prior to receiving her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982, she completed a Master’s in Public Administration at New York University in 1977. Dr. Olasin completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at St. Michaels Medical Center, The Beth Israel Medical Center in 1987. She is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians.
Dr. Olasin has received numerous awards, grants, and scholarships during her medical career, has been published in Clinical Pediatrics and is on the editorial review board for the osteopathic section of the American Academy of Pediatrics Grand Rounds.
